By sharing your experience and delivering lessons in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship, you can help shape the future of our community. As role models, you'll have the opportunity to positively impact young people's perceptions about the importance of education and critical life skills. This is just a friendly reminder that all Bartlesville schools will be in session this Friday, February 17th. At one time, the 17th was scheduled to be a Virtual Day. That was changed a few months ago.
We will not be in session on Monday, February 20th. That day is a Professional In-Service Day. Students will not have any assignments to do nor will they have to log on for any virtual meetings on the 20th.
And....We just wanted to say "Thank You" for continuing to support our students on the school bond proposal on February 14th! It is a great time to be a BRUIN!!!
Thank you, Bartlesville, for approving $38 million in bond issues to expand Wayside and Ranch Heights elementary schools and to help fund the district's technology, curricular, maintenance, and extracurricular programs through 2026-2027, all with no increase in the millage.
Please remember to vote today on two school bond issue questions. Regular polling places will be open until 7 p.m. If approved, bonds would replace older ones to be retired, maintaining the current property tax millage. Details at https://www.bps-ok.org/page/bruinbond.
